Hon. Johnson Mukuha was born and brought up in Kanorero Village, Kangema Constitutency. He attended Karuri Primary School and later joined Uthiru Boys High School.

Hon. Mukuha holds an MBA in project management- Business School of Costa Rica.

He has over ten years private practice expertise that has equipped him to handle societal problems.

He is committed to steering approval of legislations that will help transform the socio-economic status of the people of Murang'a. He is also keen in formulation of policy framework that will enhance the oversight and representative role of the Assembly.

His election as the 2nd Speaker of the 3rd Assembly brings an array of hope to a vibrant legislature keen of oversighting the County Executive for the better good of Murang'a residents.
