Hon. Francis Kibe Kamau (Wasary ) - The Leader of Majority

Pursuant to the Murang'a County Assembly Standing Orders, the largest party or coalition of parties in the Assemblyshall elect a member of the Assembly belonging to the party or coalition of parties to be the Leader of the Majority Party and a member of the Assembly belonging to the party or coalition of parties to be the Deputy Leader of the Majority Party. Subsequently, Hon. Francis Kibe Kamau(Wasary), MCA, Ithiru Ward was elected as the Leader of Majority.

He holds a BA in Commerce.

Has served as an elected Member of the County Assembly for Ithiru ward (2017-2022) Chair of Budget committee and a Member of the Finance, Liaison, and Education Committees during the 2nd Assembly. Prior to joining politics he previously worked in as a manager and an accountant in various institutions

Currently the Leader of Majority and Chair of Selection Committee and a Member of several other committees.

He will be deputised by Hon. Liz Muthoni Mbugua, MCA, Kinyona Ward.
