HOUSE APPROVES APPOINTEES TO THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Upon receipt of the persons nominated by the Governor of Murang’a County, Dr. Irungu Kang’ata to the County Executive Committee, the Committee on appointments conducted approval hearings of nominees Pursuant to Article 179(2)(b) of the Constitution of Kenya, Section 8 (1) of the County Governments Act, Section 7 and 9(1) of the Public Appointments(County Assemblies Approval) Act and Standing Order 198(4) of the Murang'a County Assembly Standing Orders on October 11, 2022.

Subsequently during a special sitting of the Assembly held on October 18, 2022, the House approved all persons nominated by H.E. the Governor as follows;
