MUMBI GROUNDS TO BE UPGRADED TO A SPORTS COMPLEX

The County Assembly has passed a motion to have Gakoigo Stadium built to national standards and have Mumbi grounds upgraded to a sports complex facility. During debate on the status of County Sports facilities, the mover of the motion Hon. Grace Sharleen Wambui Maina, Nominated MCA and Chair of Youth, Culture, Gender and Social Services Committee of the Assembly urged members to adopt the report whose recommendations, if, implemented by the County Executive will set in motion the development of one stadium in every sub county in the next five years among other socio-cultural benefits.
