NOMINATED BOARD MEMBERS FOR THE PROPOSED KANGARI AND KENOL MUNICIPALITIES HAVE BEEN APPROVED

Having conducted approval hearing on suitability for appointment of board members for the proposed Kangari and Kenol municipalities, in a sitting held on October 18, 2023, the Assembly APPROVED the appointment of the nominated persons pursuant to Section 14(2)( c ) of the Urban Areas and Cities (Amendment)Act 2019 and Section 7 and 8 of the Public Appointments (County Assemblies Approval ) Act , 2017 as follows;
