BENCHMARK VISIT BY THE VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

On May 24, 2019 the House Business and Rules Committee led by Hon. Nduati Kariuki, Speaker of the Assembly hosted a delegation of students from the Virginia Commonwealth University, USA.
The students who are currently undertaking comparative politics were in the Country to benchmark with Assembly and gain knowledge on comparative public administration. Various issues of concern were highlighted including the variations drawn from the system of government between the Kenyan parliamentary systems versus the federal system of government used in the United States.
